MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIR

On behalf of the Symposium Planning Committee, I would like to thank everyone who participated in the 2024 Virtual Symposium! We had four well attended sessions with informative speakers and engaging discussions. I would like to acknowledge the outstanding work of the Symposium Planning Committee in putting together this virtual learning event. Special thanks to Marilen Miguel, Samantha Chater and all the PGO staff, to the co-chairs for each of our sessions (Kristina Anderson, Hannah Chessell, Kristin Hanson, Robert Hearst, Andrea Waldie, Craig Waldie, & Jim White) and to all our excellent speakers. Thank you to our sponsors, TD Insurance Meloche Monnex, our associate sponsors, Manulife and Hub International and Session A sponsor, World Education Services (WES). It’s been a pleasure to chair and work with this committee. Hannah Chessell will take on the role of chair for 2025.

We are seeking volunteers for the 2025 Virtual Symposium Planning Committee. Please reach out if you’re interested in helping to run this fun and informative event! You can send an email to Marilen Miguel at mmiguel@pgo.ca for more information on this volunteer opportunity.
