ABOUT THE SPEAKER


Sarah Murray, P.Geo., Project Manager, WSP

Sarah obtained a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Guelph, following which she completed the one year Environmental Engineering Applications Post-Grad Certificate program at Conestoga College.

Sarah has been employed with WSP Canada Inc. (through various acquisitions) for approximately 14 years and she was able to take courses on a part-time basis to fulfil the educational requirements for the Professional Geoscientist designation. Sarah has experience completing several Phase One and Two Environmental Site Assessments and Record of Site Conditions. Sarah has also worked with numerous public sector clients to ensure the proper handling and management of contaminated soil and groundwater for large infrastructure projects. According to Sarah, the best part about this job is working with clients to transform vacant, brownfield, 'eye-sore' properties into useable land to support community and economic growth.

Sarah Murray is a QPESA, a Professional Geoscientist with the PGO and a Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) with OACETT.
