
Call for Volunteers: Complaints Committee
The PGO Complaints Committee is looking for registrants to volunteer as panel members. Panel members will assist the Complaints Committee in reviewing matters involving potential breaches of professional conduct, ethics and regulatory obligations. Members are expected to apply PGO's standards with integrity and fairness, ensuring that every case is approached with objectivity, professionalism and respect for due process.
Qualifications
- Must be a P.Geo. in good standing with PGO
- Experience in governance, ethics or regulatory processes is an asset but not a requirement
- Strong ethical nature and open-mindedness
- Familiarity with PGO's Code of Ethics and regulatory mandate
- No current conflicts of interest related to active complaints or governance roles

Time Commitment
- Panel members are appointed on an as-needed basis
- Participation may involve document review and virtual meetings
- Orientation and training will be provided
